The Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, Panchkula, has released an official notification inviting applications for the posts of Engineering Associates in various disciplines. The engagement will be on a contractual basis initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Post	Qualification Required
Engineering Associate (Civil)	B.Tech or B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution in India.
Engineering Associate (Electrical)	B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution in India.
Engineering Associate (Horticulture)	First class degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture; OR M.Sc. degree in Horticulture (including Floriculture/Olericulture); OR M.Sc. degree in Botany with Horticulture as one subject from a recognized University or Institution in India.

Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in two parts: Part-A (Evaluation) and Part-B (Written Examination).

Part-A (Evaluation) — 50 Marks

Marks obtained in qualifying examination (× 0.35) – 35 Marks
Master’s Degree in relevant field – 5 Marks
One year of relevant experience – 5 Marks
Additional experience (1 mark per year, up to 5 marks) – 5 Marks

Candidates must score a minimum of 35 marks in Part-A to qualify for the written examination.

Part-B (Written Examination) — 50 Marks

Candidates must score a minimum of 35 marks in Part-B to be considered for the engagement list.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined score of Part-A and Part-B (Total 100 Marks). Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D., Master’s degree, or who are top rankers in their qualifying Bachelor’s degree. The final decision of engagement will rest solely with the department.

Tenure of Engagement

Initial engagement for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance and departmental requirement.
Either party may terminate the contract by giving 30 days’ written notice.
Engagement may be terminated earlier for poor performance, misconduct, or other valid reasons.

Recent passport-size color photograph (light background, face clearly visible up to 80%).
Scanned signature in black ink on white paper.
Self-certified copies of degree or mark sheets (both sides if applicable).
Self-certified copies of experience certificates.

Other Important Instructions
