Available Designations and Job Details

Technical Assistant (TA02)

Nature of Work: System administration of all endpoints and maintenance of the server room infrastructure; programming in C/C++/Python, and implementation of security compliance requirements of the institute.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Hardware & Networking (3 years full-time) with minimum 60% marks and 2 years experience in relevant area/field.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in managing network switches, routers, firewalls, CCTV, Wi-Fi, LAN, etc.

Technical Assistant (TA03)

Nature of Work: Underwater archaeological exploration and excavation, underwater videography, photography, coastal archaeological studies, research, and publication preparation.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. with Archaeology/Environmental Sciences/Geology/Geography with minimum 60% marks and 1-year relevant experience or one-year professional qualification.

Desirable Qualification: Diploma in Underwater Archaeology or experience in the field of archaeology.

Technical Assistant (TA04)

Nature of Work: Maintenance and preventive upkeep of buildings including plumbing, carpentry, building supervision, and liaison with local authorities.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology (3 years full-time) with 60% marks and 2 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computer and AutoCAD software.

Technical Assistant (TA05)

Nature of Work: Handling IT systems, database support, and related computing operations.

Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science or BCA with 60% marks and 1-year relevant experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

As per CSIR norms (not exceeding 28 years for Technical Assistant unless otherwise specified).
