Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian Citizen
• Educational Qualification: Degree in Naval Architecture Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years managerial experience in shipyard, marine engineering company, offshore company, or government/semi-government organization in design/production/ship hull repair.
• Desirable Experience: Docking/undocking operations, ERP/SAP systems, and good communication in Hindi/Bengali.

Reservation Details

The single vacancy for Deputy Manager (Naval Architect) is unreserved (UR). The post is not identified for PwBD candidates due to hazardous work conditions at CKSRU, Kolkata. Government of India reservation policies shall apply where applicable.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of the following stages conducted at CKSRU, Kolkata or through online means:

• PowerPoint Presentation on work experience (10 minutes)
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

Only those meeting the experience and job requirements will proceed to Group Discussion and Interview stages.

Additional Instructions

• Experience calculation will consider only post-qualification experience.
• Training periods will not be counted as experience.
• Candidates employed in PSUs/Govt must have served at least one year in immediate lower grade to be eligible.
• Shortlisted candidates attending in-person interviews are entitled to reimbursement of 3rd AC train fare by the shortest route.
• A merit list will be maintained for 18 months from the date of joining of the selected candidate or till new notification.
• Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
• All disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of courts/tribunals at Ernakulam.
