BRIC–Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

BRIC-THSTI has built several inter-institutional collaborations and connectivity with industry supported by well-trained teams of research and laboratory staff. THSTI has established various centres namely:

• Centre for Maternal and Child Health
• Centre for Virus Research, Therapeutics and Vaccines
• Centre for Tuberculosis Research
• Centre for Microbial Research
• Centre for Immunobiology and Immunotherapy
• Centre for Drug Discovery
• Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA)
• Computational and Mathematical Biology Centre
• Centre for Bio-design and Diagnostics

These centres are strengthened by many core facilities viz. Bioassay Laboratory, Biorepository, Biosafety Level-3 Lab, Data Management Centre, Immunology Core Laboratory, Multi-Omics Facility, Experimental Animal Facility, Vaccine Design and Development Facility, School of Innovation in Bio-design etc., that serve as huge resources for the research programmes of THSTI and also the National Capital Region Biotech Science Cluster and other academic and industrial partners.

BRIC-THSTI trains the next generation of scientific leaders through many ambitious and globally competitive academic courses which promote research and innovation through multi-disciplinary academia-industry partnerships.

Recruitment Overview

CDSA is a niche center of THSTI established to facilitate development of affordable healthcare products for public health diseases. It is the only public Centre in the country created with a mandate to support and nurture cost-effective, high quality, not-for-profit technology-based preclinical and clinical product development as well as support clinical research conducted by public agencies.

It works towards development of an eco-system for training and learning and works with public sector institutions and small and medium enterprises (SME) to translate innovative technologies into medical products for public good.

Main Objectives of CDSA

1. To undertake and provide end-to-end clinical study support for investigators and SMEs in study planning, setup, conduct, project management, monitoring, data management, safety reporting, analysis and report writing.
2. Build research capacity and capability through high quality training in the area of clinical development/trials and regulation.
3. Support and strengthen the clinical research environment in the country.
4. Regulatory science and policy support: provide tools and approaches to support researchers, regulators, health policy makers and industry.

Job Location Details

Post 1: Data Entry Operator

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Master's in any discipline with 2 years’ experience in a reputed organization.
• OR Graduate in any discipline with 5 years’ experience in a reputed organization.
• Desirable: Diploma in Computers from reputed recognized institution.
• Experience in data entry, data management, data analysis, MIS, dashboard and report creation.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for error-free data entry and management within defined timelines.
• Maintain organized documentation and assist with filing, printing or scanning.
• Participate in training related to electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Assist in resolving data queries.
• Support periodic quality checks and audits.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of patient information.
• Provide support to the data management team in data-related or clerical tasks.

Skills Required

• Experience in clinical data entry or healthcare/research setting is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Good typing speed with high accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player and align with CDSA Mission and Vision.

Post 2: Project Associate

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s in Life Science/Pharma from a recognized University with 2 years of exposure to clinical research.
• OR Master’s in Clinical Research/Public Health/Pharma from a recognized University.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination with faculty and external experts.
• Assist in scheduling sessions and logistics.
• Maintain course-related documents and certification records.
• Assist in feedback collection and reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the project team.

Skills Required

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfort with digital platforms and LMS systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
