Project Information

The Junior Research Fellow selected for this project is expected to work in the area of electron-hole interactions, also called excitons, in semiconductors. The candidate is expected to carry out massive parallel computations using high performance computers located in CDAC, India and European supercomputer clusters in the field of semiconductor physics. The project expects output of high research quality, and the results may be showcased in reputed journals such as Phys. Rev. B. and JPCC.

The notification states that it is desirable for the candidate to have some prior knowledge in the area of density functional theory because of the computational and theoretical nature of the assigned work.

Selection Process
