Position Details

Salary and Fees

Eligibility Criteria

• MD in General Medicine (PG Qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India) with at least 3 years of experience, OR
• Basic qualification of MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India) with at least 5 years of experience after passing MBBS.
• Homeopathy doctors are not eligible to apply.
• The applicant must be a resident of Baroda city.

Age Limit

The age of the Part-Time Medical Consultant should not be more than 55 years at the time of engagement.

Contract Details

• Contract Period: Initially for 1 year, renewable for up to 3 years (including the first year), subject to annual review.
• Termination: The contract may be terminated by giving 1 month's prior notice by either side during the subsistence of the contract period.
• Working Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week (3 hours per day in a 5-day week or 2.5 hours per day in a 6-day week).

Other Terms & Conditions

• The Part-Time Medical Consultant shall not be eligible for benefits available to part-time/full-time employees of the bank such as leave, LFC, LTC, Provident Fund, Gratuity, conveyance expenses, bonus, medical expenses, briefcase, newspaper, etc.
• Except for the services of the compounder, no other person will be allowed to be engaged by the Medical Consultant.
