Monsoon expected to be more active this year
The IMD has stated that this year's monsoon will be more active than usual, with rainfall expected to be up to 106% of the long-term average across the country. Due to heavy rains in South India and the Northeast, several areas have been issued red and orange alerts. However, it will take some time for the monsoon to arrive in Delhi.
