पंजाब के कई गांव बाढ़ की चपेट में हैं। आपदा में अब तक कई लोगों की जान जा चुकी है, जबकि 3 लाख से अधिक लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं। हालात से निपटने के लिए सेना, एनडीआरएफ और बीएसएफ की टीमें लगातार राहत व बचाव कार्य में लगी हुई हैं। वहीं बारिश थमने से पानी का स्तर धीरे-धीरे कम हो रहा है।
