India Meteorological Department issues heavy rainfall warning in several states
According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Goa in the next 24 hours, for which a red alert has been issued. Meanwhile, an orange alert has been declared for Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, and Kerala due to the possibility of heavy rain.
