मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मुख्य सेवक सदन में 139 नवनियुक्त कर्मचारियों को नियुक्ति पत्र वितरित किए और उन्हें राज्य को श्रेष्ठ बनाने के लिए काम करने का आह्वान किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अब उत्तराखण्ड में नौकरियां योग्यता और क्षमता के आधार पर मिल रही हैं और साढ़े तीन वर्षों में राज्य में 23,000 से अधिक नियुक्तियां हो चुकी हैं।

आज, 7 मई को देहरादून में सिविल डिफेंस की मॉक ड्रिल होगी, जिसमें आपातकालीन स्थितियों से निपटने का अभ्यास किया जाएगा। शहर में नौ स्थानों पर सायरन लगाए जाएंगे और नागरिकों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर निकालने की प्रक्रिया का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा। इस ड्रिल में कॉलेज छात्र और आम नागरिक भी शामिल होंगे।

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, उत्तरकाशी, रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली, पिथौरागढ़ और बागेश्वर में भारी बारिश, आकाशीय बिजली और तेज हवाएं चलने की संभावना है।देहरादून, पौड़ी, टिहरी, नैनीताल, चंपावत और अल्मोड़ा में भी तेज बारिश और आकाशीय बिजली चमकने की संभावना है। हरिद्वार और उधमसिंह नगर में भी यही स्थिति रहेगी।

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are likely in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar. Similar conditions are expected in Dehradun, Pauri, Tehri, Nainital, Champawat, and Almora. Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar may also experience thunderstorms.

उत्तराखंड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग ने ग्रुप ‘सी’ के अंतर्गत पटवारी, लेखपाल और ग्राम विकास अधिकारी सहित विभिन्न पदों पर भर्ती जारी की है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 15 मई 2025 है। आयोग ने यह भी बताया है कि जिन अभ्यर्थियों को अपने आवेदन में संशोधन करना है, वे 18 मई से 20 मई 2025 के बीच सुधार कर सकते हैं।
