On the previous day, CM Dhami observed the arrangement of breaking litchi from litchi trees located in the CM residence complex. He said that Dehradun has also been recognized for litchi. To maintain this identity, more and more litchi trees need to be planted. CM asked the Horticulture Department to take initiative for this and said that public participation is necessary for making efforts to plant litchi and other fruit trees in state complexes, residences as well as public places and parks.
