Kadaknath chicken farm is being operated by the cattle rearer Mr. Dinesh Rawat in village Srikot of development block, Karnprayag district, Chamoli. These chicks were made available to the cattle rearers by the department under the self-employment scheme. Under Atma Yojna, Shri Rawat was distributed a demonstration kit by the Animal Husbandry Department and necessary technical information was provided. Good income is being received by Mr. Rawat from the sale of these chickens.
