Spire of Gopinath Temple in Chamoli renovated, golden kalash enhances its divinity
The ancient Gopinath Temple in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, has been restored to a grand new form after 75 years. The Archaeological Survey of India renovated the temple’s spire with a copper roof, new canopy, and a gold-plated kalash installed as per Vedic tradition. Now Shiva temples appears even more divine and continues to attract devotees.
