बीती रात्रि में स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने उत्तरकाशी जिला अस्पताल पहुंचकर निरीक्षण किया और सभी व्यवस्थाओं को देखकर अधिकारियों से चर्चा की। साथ ही उन्हें कई निर्देश भी दिए। इसके अलावा उन्होंने मरीजों से मिलकर उनका हालचाल जाना और अस्पताल में मिलने वाली सुविधाओं के बारे में उनका फीडबैक भी लिया।

Last night, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat reached Uttarkashi District Hospital and inspected and after seeing all the arrangements discussed with the officials. Also gave him many instructions. Apart from this, he met the patients to know their well-being and also took their feedback about the facilities available in the hospital.

सीएम धामी ने नई दिल्ली में केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री श्री अश्विनी वैष्णव से शिष्टाचार भेंट कर उनसे टनकपुर-देहरादून के मध्य जनशताब्दी और दिल्ली-रामनगर के मध्य शताब्दी एक्सप्रेस रेल सेवा संचालित करने का अनुरोध किया। सीएम ने रेल मंत्री से देहरादून से सहारनपुर को मोहण्ड होते हुए रेलवे से जोड़ने हेतु टनल आधारित रेल लाइन परियोजना ओर ऋषिकेश-उत्तरकाशी रेल लाइन परियोजना का शीघ्र परीक्षण कराकर इसके निर्माण की स्वीकृति प्रदान किए जाने का भी अनुरोध किया।

CM Dhami paid a courtesy call on the Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav in New Delhi and requested him to operate Jan Shatabdi between Tanakpur-Dehradun and Shatabdi Express train service between Delhi-Ramnagar. The CM also requested the Railway Minister to approve the construction of the tunnel-based rail line project and the Rishikesh-Uttarkashi rail line project to connect Dehradun to Saharanpur with the railway via Mohand.

मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस. संधु ने बीते दिन उत्तराखण्ड आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय में उत्तराखण्ड के पीएमएचएस चिकित्सा अधिकारियों के लिए आम जनमानस के इलाज हेतु आयुर्वेद को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 06 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया। मुख्य सचिव ने आयुर्वेद पद्धति के महत्व पर विषेश बल देते हुए कहा कि प्राचीन समय से ही आयुर्वेद द्वारा चिकित्सा सुविधा दी जा रही है। आज के समय में आयुर्वेद व ऐलोपैथी पद्धति को आपस में तालमेल बनाकर आम जनमानस को चिकित्सकीय इलाज दे कर बेहतर इलाज किया जा सकता है।

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu inaugurated a 06-day training program for the PMHS medical officers of Uttarakhand at Uttarakhand Ayurved University to promote Ayurveda for the treatment of general public. Emphasizing the importance of Ayurveda system, the CS said that medical facilities are being provided by Ayurveda since ancient times. In today's time, better treatment can be given by giving medical treatment to the general public by making coordination between Ayurveda and Allopathy method.
