मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस. संधु ने बीते दिन उत्तराखण्ड आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय में उत्तराखण्ड के पीएमएचएस चिकित्सा अधिकारियों के लिए आम जनमानस के इलाज हेतु आयुर्वेद को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 06 दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ किया। मुख्य सचिव ने आयुर्वेद पद्धति के महत्व पर विषेश बल देते हुए कहा कि प्राचीन समय से ही आयुर्वेद द्वारा चिकित्सा सुविधा दी जा रही है। आज के समय में आयुर्वेद व ऐलोपैथी पद्धति को आपस में तालमेल बनाकर आम जनमानस को चिकित्सकीय इलाज दे कर बेहतर इलाज किया जा सकता है।

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu inaugurated a 06-day training program for the PMHS medical officers of Uttarakhand at Uttarakhand Ayurved University to promote Ayurveda for the treatment of general public. Emphasizing the importance of Ayurveda system, the CS said that medical facilities are being provided by Ayurveda since ancient times. In today's time, better treatment can be given by giving medical treatment to the general public by making coordination between Ayurveda and Allopathy method.
