आगामी चारधाम यात्रा-2023 के दृष्टिगत सुगम एवं सुचारु यातायात व्यवस्था हेतु बीते दिन यातायात पुलिस उत्तरकाशी व चौकी डुंडा पुलिस द्वारा गंगोत्री यात्रा रूट पर स्थित मुख्य पड़ाव डुंडा बाजार मे रोड पर अवैध अतिक्रमण व नो पार्किंग मे खडे वाहनों के खिलाफ अभियान चलाकर चालानी व क्रेन से टो कार्रवाई की गयी। पुलिस द्वारा आमजन को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक कर सुचारु यातायात व्यवस्था में पुलिस का सहयोग करने की अपील की गयी।

In view of the upcoming Chardham Yatra-2023, Traffic Police, Uttarkashi and Chowki Dunda Police conducted a campaign against illegal encroachment and vehicles parked in no parking on the road in Dunda Bazar, the main stop on the Gangotri Yatra route.  An appeal was made by the police to cooperate with the police in the smooth traffic system by making the public aware of the traffic rules.

एसडीआरएफ टीम कपकोट द्वारा अग्निशमन कपकोट तथा वन विभाग कपकोट की टीम के साथ संयुक्त रूप से कपकोट क्षेत्रांतर्गत जंगल में फायर सीजन के दृष्टिगत मौक ड्रिल का आयोजन कर वनाग्नि को बुझाने का अभ्यास किया गया तथा अपने-अपने आपदा राहत उपकरणों के प्रयोग की जानकारी को आपस में साझा किया गया।

बीते दिन बीईएल कम्पनी कोटद्वार परिसर के अंदर जंगल में आग लगी, जिसे फायर यूनिट ने शीघ्र घटनास्थल पर मोके पर पहुंचकर एमएफई से एक होजपाईप फैलाकर पम्पिंग कर आग को पूर्ण रुप से बुझाया गया। आग से कोई जनहानि नही हुई।

Last day, a forest fire broke out inside the BEL Company Kotdwar premises, which the fire unit quickly reached the spot and extinguished the fire completely by pumping a hosepipe from the MFE. There was no loss of life in the fire.

In a meeting with officials of the tourism department, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu said that Uttarakhand is geographically very suitable for water sports and air sports, which can play an important role in employment generation. The CS said that the high altitude playgrounds in Pithoragarh and Tehri including Pauri's Ransi Stadium should be developed as high altitude training grounds.

टिहरी पुलिस ने अवैध डोडा पोस्त की खेती की सूचना प्राप्त होने पर पुलिस टीम व एएनटीएफ टीम द्वारा गहन जांच उपरांत ग्राम नाला, पट्टी नगुन में दिनांक 07.04.2023 को पुलिस, एएनटीएफ तहसीलदार कंडीसौर एवं आबकारी विभाग की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा मौके पर अफीम डोडा पोस्त की फसल के 23 खेतो को विधिनुसार नष्ट किया।
