नशे को जड़ से उखाड़ फेंकने के लिए उत्तरकाशी पुलिस द्वारा अभी तक ग्रामीणों द्वारा पैदा की गयी करीब 1300 नाली (26 हेक्टेयर) भू-भाग पर अवैध भांग व अफीम की खेती को नष्ट किया जा चुका है, जिसमें नशीले पदार्थों की अवैध खेती करने वाले 22 भू-स्वामियों के विरुद्ध एफआईआर दर्ज की गयी है।

खेल विभाग ने वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए देवभूमि उत्तराखंड खेल रत्न और देवभूमि उत्तराखंड द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार के लिए आवेदन प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। आवेदन करने की लास्ट डेट 15 अक्टूबर बताई जा रही है। बताया जा रहा है कि उत्तराखंड के मूल निवासी खिलाड़ियों और प्रशिक्षकों की उपलब्धियों के आधार पर पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे। जो खिलाड़ी और प्रशिक्षक पुरस्कारों के लिए तय मानकों को पूरा करते हैं, वे आवेदन कर सकते है।

The Sports Department has started the application process for Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Khel Ratna and Devbhoomi Uttarakhand Dronacharya Award for the year 2022-23. हादसे की खबर हरिद्वार के कनखल क्षेत्र से है। यहां अस्पताल में भर्ती चचेरे भाई से मिलकर घर लौट रहे स्कूटी सवार भाई-बहनों को एक रोडवेज बस ने टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में जहां वाहन के परखच्चे उड़ गए वहीं भाई की मौत हो गई बहने गंभीर घायल हो गए है। सूचना पर पहुंची पुलिस ने रोडवेज बस और स्कूटी को कब्जे में ले लिया।

While the vehicle was blown apart in the accident, the brother died and the sisters were seriously injured. Police reached the spot after getting information and took possession of the roadways bus and scooter.
