During patrolling, Almora Police arrested a youth Rahul Manral alias Guddu after recovering 05.17 grams of smack (worth Rs 51,700) and Rs 14,500 earned by selling smack from his possession.

Under the aegis of Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council, Acro Festival is proposed to be organized in Pratapnagar and Koti Colony from 24th November to 28th November 2023 in the district area. 158 pilots from India and abroad are to participate in the Acro Festival, which includes 50 foreign pilots and 108 pilots from different states of the country. Paragliders will take off from Pratapnagar and land in Koti Colony.

सुरंग में फंसे 41 मजदूरों को फंसे 11 दिन बीत चुके हैं। श्रमिकों को निकालने के लिए शासन प्रशासन की जद्दोजहद जारी है। बस कुछ ही देर में श्रमिक आजाद हो जाएंगे। श्रमिकों के स्वागत के लिए केंद्रीय मंत्री वीके सिंह भी सिलक्यारा पहुंच गए हैं। वीके सिंह सुरंग के अंदर जाएंगे। 54 मीटर के बाद अगला पाइप लगाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है। माना जा रहा है कुछ ही घंटे के भीतर श्रमिक सुरंग से बाहर आ जाएंगे।

बुधवार को सुबह 8ः30 बजे द्वितीय केदार भगवान मद्महेश्वर मंदिर के कपाट शीतकाल के लिए बंद कर दिए गए हैं। शीतकाल के लिए मंदिर के कपाट बंद करने के बाद द्वितीय केदार मद्महेश्वर चल उत्सव डोली में विराजमान हुए। जिसके बाद उन्होंने मंदिर की परिक्रमा की और अपने ताम्र पात्रों के निरीक्षण किय़ा। इसके बाद चल उत्सव डोली शीतकालीन गद्दीस्थल ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ के लिए प्रस्थान किया।

मुख्य सचिव डॉ0 एस.एस. संधु की अध्यक्षता में सचिवालय में प्रदेश के वन पंचायत में जड़ी-बूटी उत्पादन के सम्बन्ध में सम्बन्धित विभागों के साथ बैठक आयोजित हुई। इस दौरान मुख्य सचिव ने वन पंचायतों में जड़ी-बूटी के उत्पादन की दिशा में शीघ्र कार्य शुरू किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने अपने निर्देश में कहा कि इसके लिए शीघ्र ही एक फेडरेशन का गठन किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी ऐसी इच्छुक वन पंचायतों को, जो हर्बल अरोमा टूरिज्म पार्क के लिये मानदंडों को पूरा करता है, इसमें शामिल किया जाए।

He said that all such interested forest panchayats, that fulfill the criteria for Herbal Aroma Tourism Park, should be included in it.
