राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने प्रदेशवासियों को उत्तराखण्ड के लोकपर्व इगास-बग्वाल की बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएँ दी हैं। पूर्व संध्या पर जारी अपने संदेश में राज्यपाल ने कहा कि यह हम सभी प्रदेशवासियों का सौभाग्य है कि लोक कला, लोक संस्कृति एवं परंपराओं के दृष्टिगत देवभूमि उत्तराखण्ड समृद्ध प्रदेश है। उत्तराखण्ड अपनी प्राकृतिक सुंदरता के साथ-साथ अपने लोक नृत्य, त्यौहार, कौथिग और मेलों के कारण अपनी विशिष्ट पहचान रखता है।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) has congratulated the people of Uttarakhand on the folk festival of Igas-Bagwal. In his message issued on the eve, the Governor said that it is the good fortune of all the people of the state that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a rich state in terms of folk art, folk culture, and traditions. Uttarakhand has its own unique identity due to its natural beauty as well as its folk dances, festivals, Kouthig, and fairs.
