सीतापुर, जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग में दो गाय तारकोल में फंसी हुई थी। सूचना पर एसडीआरएफ टीम द्वारा तुरन्त घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर अत्यंत सूझ-बूझ से कार्य करते हुए उनके शरीर से सावधानीपूर्वक तारकोल को हटाकर दोनों गायों को रेस्क्यू किया गया।

Two cows were stuck in coal tar in Sitapur, Rudraprayag district. On receiving the information, the SDRF team immediately reached the spot and acted with utmost prudence and rescued both the cows by carefully removing the tar from their bodies.

मुख्य सचिव डॉ0 एस. एस. संधु ने सचिवालय में पूँजी निवेश हेतु राज्यों को विशेष सहायता योजना 2023-24 के तहत किए जा रहे कार्यों की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने कार्यों में तेज़ी लाने के लिए सप्ताह में 2 बार बैठक कर समीक्षा किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने प्रदेश में पुस्तकालयों के निर्माण पर अधिकारियों को शीघ्र कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि विद्यालयों के पुस्तकालयों को मजबूत किया जाए। साथ ही जहां पुस्तकालय उपलब्ध नहीं है वहाँ नए पुस्तकालय तैयार किए जाएँ।

Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. Sandhu reviewed the work being done in the Secretariat under the Special Assistance Scheme 2023-24 to the states for capital investment. He gave instructions to review the work by meeting twice a week to speed up the work. He instructed the officials to expeditiously work on the construction of libraries in the state. The CS said that school libraries should be strengthened. Also, where libraries are not available, new libraries should be created.

Another national scam of minimum Rs 35 lakh was caught by Uttarakhand Police Cyber Crime Station Dehradun. The accused duped a person into buying land in India by pretending to be a friend of his son living in Canada. Also, they were duped by sending fake messages of transfer of lakhs of rupees and fraud of lakhs was done by asking for money in various accounts. The STF team tirelessly collected concrete evidence through technical analysis in this case and arrested an accused from Kaithal, Rajasthan.

नैनीताल के कमलासन कंपाउड क्षेत्र में होटल व्यवसायी के घर में आग लगने से हड़कंप मच गया। आग लगने की जानकारी देने के बाद भी दमकल वाहन नहीं पहुंच पाए तो लोगों ने बाल्टी से ही आग बुझाने की कोशिश की लेकिन देखते ही देखते आग ने इतना विकराल रूप ले लिया कि उसे बुझा पाना मुश्किल हो गया। घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस की टीम नुकसान का आकलन कर रही है। इसके साथ ही आग लगने के कारणों का पता लगा रही है।
