अल्मोड़ा पुलिस ने चेकिंग के दौरान एक मारुति वैन को रोका, जिसका चालक रात्रि में अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर मौके से फरार हो गया। वाहन की तलाशी लेने पर 05 कट्टों में कुल 49.548 किलोग्राम गांजा, जिसकी कीमत लगभग साढे सात लाख रुपए है बरामद हुआ। जिस पर वाहन को सीज करते हुए अज्ञात अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध एफआईआर पंजीकृत की गई।

During checking, Almora Police stopped a Maruti van, whose driver fled from the spot taking advantage of the darkness at night. On searching the vehicle, a total of 49.548 kg of ganja in 05 bags, worth approximately Rs 7.5 lakh, was recovered. On which the vehicle was seized and an FIR was registered against an unknown accused.

एक व्यक्ति ने कोतवाली डालनवाला पर तहरीर दी थी कि शहर के एक वैडिंग प्वाइंट में शादी समारोह के दौरान अज्ञात व्यक्ति द्वारा उनकी बुजुर्ग माताजी के कमरे में जाकर उनका एक कुण्डल लूट कर भाग गया है। पुलिस टीम द्वारा लगातार किये जा रहे प्रयासों के परिणामस्वरूप घटना को अजांम देने वाले अभियुक्त को बलबीर रोड पुल के पास से गिरफ्तार किया गया। अभियुक्त की तलाशी लेने पर उसके पास से बुजुर्ग महिला से लूटा हुआ कुण्डल भी बरामद हुआ।

A person had filed a complaint at Kotwali Dalanwala that during a wedding ceremony at a wedding point in the city, an unknown person had gone into his elderly mother's room robbed one of her earrings, and ran away. As a result of continuous efforts by the police team, the accused who committed the incident was arrested near the Balbir Road bridge. On searching the accused, the earring that was stolen from an elderly woman was also recovered from him.

सीएम धामी ने शासकीय आवास सभागार में बोधिसत्व विचार श्रृखंला 3.0 का शुभारंभ किया। इस दौरान सीएम ने कहा कि प्रदेश में स्थित विभिन्न केंद्रीय संस्थानों तथा तकनीकी उपक्रमों के विचार मंथन से राज्यहित में इस श्रृखंला की शुरूआत हो रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि जल्द ही अल्मोड़ा में मानसखण्ड विज्ञान केन्द्र का लोकार्पण होने वाला है।

पिथौरागढ़ जिले के तोली गांव से एक बुजुर्ग महिला की शव यात्रा रामेश्वर घाट पहुंची थी। इसी शव यात्रा में शामिल होने के लिए पिथौरागढ़ निवासी बीस वर्षीय सागर बिष्ट भी आया था। अंत्येष्टि हो जाने के बाद गांव के युवा नदी में स्नान कर रहे थे इसी दौरान सागर असंतुलित होकर नदी में डूब गया। जिस कारण उसकी मौत हो गई। युवक की मौत से परिजनों में कोहराम मच गया।

कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्य ऋषिकेश स्थित वीरभद्र महादेव मंदिर पहुंची। इस दौरान उन्होंने पूजा अर्चना कर मंदिर की साफ-सफाई की। बता दें प्रदेश के सभी धार्मिक स्थलों में 22 जनवरी तक सफाई अभियान चलाया जाना है। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने सभी लोगों से स्वच्छता अभियान में बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा लेने की अपील की। रेखा आर्य ने कहा कि हम सबकी जिम्मेदारी है कि एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक का फर्ज निभाते हुए अपने मंदिरों व तीर्थस्थलों को स्वच्छ रखें।
