केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी एवं सीएम धामी ने टनकपुर में ₹2217 करोड़ की कुल 8 राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास किया। इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में उत्कृष्ट बुनियादी ढांचा तैयार करने के उद्देश्य से न केवल सड़कों और राजमार्गों का काम चल रहा है, बल्कि लोगों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 87 पर दीवारों का भी निर्माण किया जा रहा है।

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ0 बी.वी.आर.सी. पुरषोत्तम ने अल्मोड़ा में अल्मोड़ा संसदीय क्षेत्र की आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उन्होंने अधिकारियों को विभिन्न व्यवस्थाओं को लेकर आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए। मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने सभी जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने के लिए प्लान तैयार किया जाए।

सचिव, आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास विभाग डॉण् रंजीत सिन्हा ने सचिवालय में विभिन्न संस्थाओं के साथ आपदा के संबंध में समीक्षा बैठक की। इस दौरान वाडिया हिमालय भू-विज्ञान संस्थान द्वारा बताया गया कि गंगोत्री ग्लेशियर की निगरानी की जा रही है, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि गंगोत्री ग्लेशियर के साथ बहुत सारी ग्लेशियर झीले हैं जो कि अत्यंत जोखिम के अन्तर्गत आती हैं। वाडिया संस्थान ने बताया गया कि इस ग्लेशियर में भी जोखिम अत्यधिक है, जिसकी निरन्तर निगरानी के लिए उपकरणों को लगाया जाना आवश्यक है।

During this, it was told by Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology that Gangotri Glacier is being monitored, they told that there are many glacier lakes along with Gangotri Glacier that come under extreme risk. Wadia Institute told that the risk in this glacier is also very high, for which it is necessary to install equipment for continuous monitoring.

हल्द्वानी से भटकते हुए धौलछीना पहुंची मानसिक रुप से अस्वस्थ महिला को धौलछीना पुलिस द्वारा सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफार्म/व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप के माध्यम से उसके परिजनों का पता लगाकर सकुशल उनके सुपुर्द किया गया।  परिजनों द्वारा महिला के संबंध में बताया गया कि वह कुछ समय पूर्व से मानसिक रुप से अस्वस्थ चल रही है, जो बिना बताये घर हल्द्वानी से चली गई थी। जिसके गुमशुदा होने पर सभी परिजन काफी परेशान थे और ढूंढखोज में लगे थे।
