A review meeting regarding the disaster was organized in the Secretariat

Secretary, Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department, Dr. Ranjit Sinha held a review meeting regarding the disaster with various organizations in the Secretariat. During this, it was told by Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology that Gangotri Glacier is being monitored, they told that there are many glacier lakes along with Gangotri Glacier that come under extreme risk. Wadia Institute told that the risk in this glacier is also very high, for which it is necessary to install equipment for continuous monitoring.
