फिनलैंड भ्रमण के दौरान कैबिनेट मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने नेशनल एजुकेशन एजेंसी के निदेशक एवं अन्य अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर शिक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण बिन्दुओं पर विचार-विमर्श किया। इसके उपरान्त उन्होंने विश्व की सर्वश्रेष्ठ लाइब्रेरी, ओडी लाइब्रेरी (निःशुल्क) का भ्रमण कर वहां की व्यवस्थाओं का भी अवलोकन किया।

During his visit to Finland, Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a meeting with the Director of the National Education Agency and other officials and discussed various important points regarding the education system. राज्यपाल गुरमीत सिंह से राजभवन में श्रीदेव सुमन उत्तराखण्ड विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो एन के जोशी ने भेंट कर विश्वविद्यालय के आगामी एक वर्ष की कार्ययोजना को लेकर प्रस्तुतिकरण दिया। कुलपति ने राज्यपाल महोदय को बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय में अनुसंधान एवं नवाचार प्रयोगों के माध्यम से छात्र हितों को ध्यान में रखते हुए विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का क्रियान्वन किया जा रहा है।

कैबिनेट मंत्री डाॅ0 धन सिंह रावत ने उत्तराखंड शिक्षा विभाग के उच्च अधिकारियों के दल के साथ हेलसिंकी विश्वविद्यालय का भ्रमण किया। विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा फिनलैंड की स्कूली शिक्षा पर प्रस्तुतिकरण के साथ साथ भ्रमण दल के सदस्यों द्वारा पूछे गए प्रश्नों का उत्तर भी दिया गया। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा कि हेलसिंकी विश्वविद्यालय के साथ शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एमओयू किए जाने की संभावनाओं पर हम अवश्य विचार विमर्श करेंगे।

Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat visited Helsinki University with a team of senior officials of Uttarakhand Education Department. Along with a presentation by the University on school education in Finland, questions asked by the members of the tour group were also answered. The Cabinet Minister said that we will definitely discuss the possibilities of signing an MoU in the field of education with Helsinki University.

मुख्यमंत्री राज्य पशुधन मिशन योजना के अंतर्गत एक दिवसीय पशुपालक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन जनपद टिहरी गढ़वाल के ब्लॉक घनसाली में किया गया, जिसमें वरिष्ठ पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी डॉ0 दुर्गा सिंह मोल्फ़ा द्वारा पशुपालकों को मुख्यमंत्री राज्य पशुधन मिशन योजना के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी गई।

जनपद देहरादून के विकासनगर मार्ग पर एक वाहन दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया। सूचना पर एसडीआरएफ टीम द्वारा तत्काल घटनास्थल पर पहुँचकर वाहन सवार 06 लोगों में से 03 घायलों को रेस्क्यू अभियान चलाकर एम्बुलेंस द्वारा अस्पताल भिजवाया गया व अन्य 03 लोगो की मौके पर ही मृत्यु हो चुकी थी, जिनके शवों को जिला पुलिस के सुपुर्द किया गया।

A vehicle met with an accident on Vikasnagar road in Dehradun district. On receiving the information, the SDRF team immediately reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation. Out of the six people traveling in the vehicle, three injured people were sent to the hospital by ambulance and the other three people died on the spot, whose bodies were handed over to the district police.
