राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से नि) ने राजभवन में स्व वित्तपोषित विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों के साथ बैठक की। बैठक में राज्यपाल ने कहा कि राज्य के विकास एवं प्रगति में विश्वविद्यालयों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है, विश्वविद्यालय यह प्रयास करें की शोध एवं अनुसंधान का लाभ प्रदेश, युवाओं और आम आदमी को मिले।

Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) held a meeting with Vice Chancellors of self-financed universities at Raj Bhavan. In the meeting, the Governor said that universities have an important role in the development and progress of the state and the universities should make efforts so that the state, the youth and the common man get the benefits of research.

नारायणपुर, जसपुर में आग लगी थी, प्राप्त सूचना पर फायर स्टेशन जसपुर  घटनास्थल पर पहुंची, आग नारायणपुर में घर पर लगी थी। फायर यूनिट द्वारा अति शीघ्र कार्यवाही करते हुए मिनी हाई प्रेशर की होजरील से आग पर लगातार पंपिंग की गई, आग को फैलने से रोकते हुए पूर्ण रूप से बुझाया गया। आग से कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई है।

There was a fire in Narayanpur, Jaspur, on receiving information, Fire Station Jaspur reached the spot, the fire broke out at a house in Narayanpur. The fire unit took immediate action and continuously pumped the fire with a mini high pressure hose reel, completely extinguishing the fire, preventing it from spreading. There has been no loss of life due to the fire.

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ0 बी.वी.आर.सी पुरुषोत्तम के निर्देशों के क्रम में निर्वाचन कार्यालय में तैनात वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों द्वारा राजधानी देहरादून में कम मतदान प्रतिशत वाले बूथों पर मतदाता शपथ आयोजित कर जनजागरुकता कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया गया। इसी क्रम में अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी डॉ0 विजय कुमार जोगदंडे ने डीएवी कॉलेज, देहरादून में जाकर मतदाता शपथ एवं जन जागरूकता कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया।

As per the instructions of Chief Electoral Officer Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam, senior officers posted in the election office took part in the public awareness program by organizing voter oath at booths with low voting percentage in the capital Dehradun. In this sequence, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande went to DAV College, Dehradun and participated in the voter oath and public awareness program.

पुलिस मुख्यालय उत्तराखण्ड, देहरादून में श्री अभिनव कुमार, डीजीपी महोदय ने 16वीं अखिल भारतीय पुलिस बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप-2024 एवं 72वीं अखिल भारतीय पुलिस वॉलीबॉल क्लस्टर 2023-24 में पदक प्राप्त खिलाड़ियों से मिलकर उन्हें शुभकामनाएं देते हुये भविष्य में होने वाली प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए भी कड़ी मेहनत व लगन से अभ्यास करने व स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त करने हेतु प्रेरित किया।

आगामी 31 मार्च से देहरादून से कोलकाता के लिए हवाई सेवा शुरू होने जा रही है। इस हवाई सेवा के शुरू होने से देहरादून का जौलीग्रांट एयरपोर्ट, पश्चिम बंगाल की राजधानी कोलकाता से सीधी फ्लाइट से जुड़ जाएगा। इसके लिए हवाई सेवा का संचालन इंडिगो कंपनी द्वारा अपने 180 सीटर विमान के जरिए किया जाएगा। यह हवाई सेवा सप्ताह में चार दिन सोमवार, बृहस्पतिवार, शुक्रवार और रविवार को संचालित होगी।

देहरादून से कोलकाता के लिए 31 मार्च से शुरू होगी फ्लाइट

Air service from Dehradun to Kolkata is going to start from 31st March. With the start of this air service, Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport will be connected to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, by direct flight. For this, the air service will be operated by Indigo company through its 180 seater aircraft. This air service will operate four days a week on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

नोजगे पब्लिक स्कूल खटीमा में अध्यनरत नेहा चन्द, अन्तरा गैडा तथा साक्षी चन्द  आगामी 31 मार्च से 4 अप्रैल तक पाटलिपुत्र स्टेडियम, पटना, बिहार में आयोजित होने वाले सब जूनियर राष्ट्रीय कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभाग करने जा रही है।  तीनों छात्राओं के राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर चयनित होने से उनके परिवारों में भी हर्षोल्लास का माहौल है।

मौसम विभाग के निदेशक विक्रम सिंह के अनुसार प्रदेश के मैदानी क्षेत्रों में शुष्क और तेज़ धुप की संभावना है। इसके बावजूद पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में थोड़ी सी बादलों की उम्मीद है और उत्तरकाशी व पिथौरागढ़ के ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्रों में हल्की बारिश और बर्फबारी की संभावना भी बनी हुई है। आने वाले तीन दिनों में प्रदेश में मौसम का मिजाज बदलेगा।

प्रदेश में बिजली और ओलावृष्टि को लेकर चेतावनी जारी

According to Meteorological Department Director Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of dry and strong sunlight in the plains of the state. Despite this, some clouds are expected in the hilly areas and there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas of Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh. The weather patterns in the state will change in the coming three days.
