Project 01: Conservation and Management of Sloth Bear in India – A Landscape Based Initiative

1. Project Scientist – II (1 Post)

• Monthly Emoluments: ₹92,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 40 Years
• Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Natural Sciences / Agricultural / Forestry Sciences with 3 years research experience OR Master’s Degree in Engineering & Technology with 3 years experience OR Master’s Degree in Veterinary Sciences with 3 years experience in R&D.
• Desirable: Experience in human-wildlife conflict assessment, GIS-based hotspot mapping, ecological data integration, scientific publications, coordination with Forest Departments.
• Work: Project coordination, conflict mapping, field protocol standardization, data synthesis, reporting, training, stakeholder engagement.

2. Principal Project Associate (1 Post)

• Monthly Emoluments: ₹67,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 40 Years
• Qualification: 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years experience OR Master’s Degree with 8 years experience OR BVSc with 8 years experience OR Engineering Degree with 8 years OR Master Engineering with 6 years OR Doctoral Degree with 4 years experience.
• Work: Field supervision, GIS analysis, statistical modeling, reporting, coordination with State Forest Departments.

3. Senior Project Associate (Field Research & Data Analysis) – 1 Post

• Monthly Emoluments: ₹57,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 40 Years
• Qualification: 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years experience OR Master’s Degree with 4 years experience OR Engineering Degree with 4 years experience OR Doctoral Degree.
• Work: Field surveys, genetic sampling, GIS mapping, conflict analysis, report preparation.

4. Senior Project Associate (Government Liaison & Coordination) – 1 Post

• Monthly Emoluments: ₹57,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 40 Years
• Location: Primarily based at MoEFCC, Delhi
• Work: Inter-state coordination, official communications, documentation, GIS analysis, reporting, stakeholder management.

5. Project Associate – I (4 Posts)

• Salary: ₹37,000 + HRA (NET/GATE) / ₹30,000 + HRA (Non-NET/GATE)
• Age Limit: 35 Years
• Qualification: 4-Year Bachelor’s / Master’s / Veterinary / Engineering Degree in relevant disciplines.

6. Project Assistant (5 Posts)

• Salary: ₹27,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 35 Years
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science OR 3-Year Diploma in Engineering.

Project 02: Conservation and Management of the Critically Endangered Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus)

1. Project Scientist – II (1 Post)

• Salary: ₹92,000 + HRA
• Age Limit: 40 Years
• Qualification: Doctoral Degree in relevant Natural Sciences with 3 years experience OR Master Engineering with 3 years experience.
• Desirable: Experience in riverine ecology, Gangetic River system, crocodilian surveys, GIS, statistical analysis.
• Work: Field surveys, coordination with Forest Departments, data analysis, reporting.

2. Project Associate – I (2 Posts)

• Salary: ₹37,000 + HRA (NET/GATE) / ₹30,000 + HRA (Non-NET/GATE)
• Age Limit: 35 Years
• Qualification: 4-Year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences / Agricultural Sciences.
• Desirable: Crocodilian biology, river surveys, telemetry, ecological statistics, night spotlight surveys.
