Important Dates

Application Process

The application process is OTR-based (One Time Registration). Applicants must complete all stages only through the official UPPSC portal.

1. Stage 1: OTR Authentication and personal detail verification.
2. Stage 2: Submission of details and selection of preferential qualifications.
3. Stage 3: Fee payment through SBI MOPS (Net Banking, Cards, Other modes).
4. Stage 4: Final submission and printout of completed application form.

Candidates must retain all receipts, OTR details, and printed forms for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

Lecturer (Engineering & Technology)

• Level-9A: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class.
• Level-10: Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in relevant discipline with First Class in either degree.

Lecturer (Non-Engineering)

• Master’s degree in the appropriate subject (Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics) with First Class.

Architecture Lecturer

• Level-9A: B.Arch or 4-year allied degree with First Class.
• Level-10: Bachelor's + Master’s degrees with First Class.

Workshop Superintendent

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.

Librarian

• Master's Degree in Library Science with First Class, consistent academic record.
• Qualified National Level Test (UGC or equivalent).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• PH Maximum Age: 55 years

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST / OBC / Skilled Players / State Government Employees: +5 years
• Persons with Disabilities: +15 years
• Ex-Army / Emergency Commissioned / Short Service Commissioned: +3 years + service period

Reservation Details

Reservation is available only for candidates who are domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

Application Fees

Selection Process

2. Interview (Viva-Voce)

Final merit list will be prepared based on total marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.

Negative Marking: 0.33 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

Other Important Instructions

• Candidates must keep OTR details, fee receipts, and final application printout safely.
• Hard copies of application forms and certificates must be submitted when required.
• Incorrect information may result in cancellation of candidature and debarment up to 5 years.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for SC/ST and 40% for all other categories.
• OMR sheets must be filled only with Black Ball Point Pen.
• Answer sheet contains three copies: Pink (Original), Green (Preserved), Blue (Candidate copy).
• Candidates must appear at allotted exam centers—no change permitted.
