Vacancies & Reservation

10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen in each category of Constable (Exe.) Male, with 50% of such quota reserved for NSG, Commando, and Special Forces personnel.

Pay Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100/- (Group ‘C’)

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board. Relaxable to Class 11th for wards of Delhi Police personnel/MTS and certain categories (bandsmen, drivers, etc.).
• Driving License (Male Candidates): Must possess valid LMV (Car or Motorcycle) license at the time of PE&MT. Learner’s license is not acceptable.

Age Limit

18 to 25 years as on 01-07-2025 (Born between 02-07-2000 and 01-07-2007).

Age Relaxations

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Sportspersons (National/International level): 5–10 years
• Departmental Candidates (Delhi Police): Up to 40–45 years depending on category
• Ex-Servicemen: As per rules, deduction of military service rendered

• Exempted: Women candidates, SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation)

Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): 100 questions, 90 minutes, 0.25 negative marking. Subjects: GK/Current Affairs (50), Reasoning (25), Numerical Ability (15), Computer & IT (10).
2. Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Conducted by Delhi Police. Qualifying only.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates examined by Government Hospitals in Delhi.
4. Document Verification: Conducted by Delhi Police.
5. Final Merit List: Based on CBE marks, subject to PE&MT and Medical standards.

Additional Benefits & Notes

• NCC Certificate holders will receive bonus marks: NCC C (5%), NCC B (3%), NCC A (2%).
• Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) degree/diploma holders will get weightage marks: Distinction (5%), First Class (4%), Second Class (3%), Pass (2%).
• Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
• Tattoos permitted as per Indian Army guidelines: religious symbols, names, forearm/left arm only, size < 1/4 of body part.
• SSC will normalize scores if CBE conducted in multiple shifts.
• Strict anti-cheating measures including log analysis, biometric verification, and CCTV monitoring will be applied.
