Position Details

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The maximum age of the consultants should not exceed 70 years as per Railway Board’s guidelines (Letter No. E(W)/2018/ISM/8/Pt dated 25.07.2019). The consultant will cease to be engaged upon attaining the age of 70 years.

Selection Process

• Selection will be made through Walk-in Interview only.
• No written examination will be conducted.
• Selection is purely based on eligibility verification and interview performance.
• No TA/DA or Pass will be provided for attending the interview.

• Reporting Time: Between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM
• Note: Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be permitted for the interview.

Application Process

1. Candidates must report in person to the Chief Medical Superintendent’s Office, Divisional Railway Hospital, Raipur (C.G.) on the interview date.
2. They must carry a duly filled application form along with two latest passport-size colored photographs.
3. All original certificates and testimonials related to age, qualification (including detailed mark list), registration, and professional experience must be presented.
4. One set of self-attested photocopies of all these documents must be submitted during the interview.
5. Late reporting (after 11:00 AM) on 07.11.2025 will not be allowed for Walk-in Interview.

Terms and Conditions

• The engagement will be for a period of 03 months on trial basis and can be extended further based on performance and patient reports.
• Working Hours: 04 hours per day (10:00 AM to 02:00 PM).
• Engagement is purely on part-time contract basis under the Staff Benefit Fund and not by the Railway Administration.
• No Railway residential accommodation will be provided to the Homeopathic Consultant.
• Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in Government/Public sector.
• Homeopathic Consultant must maintain a record of patients treated and submit it monthly to the Welfare Section of Sr. DPO/Raipur Office.
• Consultant must also submit a monthly statement of expenditure on medicines and submit indents for requirements well in advance.

• The Staff Benefit Fund Committee reserves the right to cancel the recruitment/selection process at any stage without assigning any reason.
• Engagement under the Staff Benefit Fund (SBF) is not equivalent to employment under the Railway Administration.

• Homeopathic Consultant must maintain and submit monthly reports of patients treated and medicines used.
