Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

Category Minimum Age Maximum Residual Service
Internal Candidates 45 years At least 2 years residual service before superannuation
Other Candidates 45 years At least 3 years residual service before superannuation

2. Employment Status

The applicant must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual or ad-hoc) and belong to one of the following categories:

  • Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) – full-time functional Director
  • Central Government Group ‘A’ Officers, including Armed Forces, All India Services, Public Sector Banks, Financial Institutions, Autonomous Bodies
  • State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) with annual turnover of ₹ 5,000 crore or more
  • Private Sector company with annual turnover of ₹ 5,000 crore or more (preference given to listed companies)

3. Educational Qualification

  • Engineering Graduate OR
  • Chartered Accountant OR
  • Cost Accountant OR
  • Post Graduate / Graduate with MBA / PGDIM from a leading institute

4. Experience

Applicant must have at least 5 years cumulative experience in the last 10 years in one or more of the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Business Development
  • Production
  • Operations
  • Marketing
  • Project Management in a large organization of repute

Preference: Candidates with experience in execution of power / hydro power projects will be given preference.
