Salary and Benefits

  • Basic Pay: ₹24,250/- per month
  • Pay Scale: ₹24,250 – 53,550
  • Monthly Gross Emoluments: Approximately ₹46,029/- (without HRA)
  • HRA: 15% of pay if not residing in Bank accommodation
  • Perquisites: Medical facilities, accommodation, education reimbursement, spectacles/lens allowance, leave fare concession, vehicle insurance, pension (NPS), and gratuity.
  • Nature of Work: Handling files, records, delivery of dak, office maintenance, assisting in routine work, and other non-clerical tasks.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) passed from a recognized board within the State/UT jurisdiction of the applied RBI office. Graduates or higher-qualified candidates are not eligible.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the state.
  • Nationality: Indian citizens or eligible persons from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (before 1 Jan 1962), or Indian origin migrants from select countries permanently settled in India.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 25 years (Born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008)

Selection Process

  1. Online Test (Objective): Reasoning, General English, General Awareness, Numerical Ability — 120 questions, 120 marks, 90 minutes. Negative marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer.
  2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Conducted in the official/local language of the respective state; qualifying in nature.
  3. Final Selection: Based on merit in Online Test, qualifying LPT, medical fitness, and document verification.
