Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering
  • Certification in Primavera Software (Mandatory)
  • Only full-time qualifications from recognized institutes are accepted

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum total experience: 10 years
  • Minimum planning experience: 5 years in infrastructure projects
  • Only post-qualification experience is considered
  • Internships, apprenticeships, academic training, summer training, teaching, or freelancing experience will not be counted

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: Up to 45 years
  • Age relaxation as per Government of India rules applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen
  • If eligible for more than one relaxation category, only the highest relaxation will apply

Salary and Remuneration

The Monthly Remuneration is Negotiable. Statutory deductions including EPF (Employee’s Share), Income Tax, and Professional Tax will be applicable. Employer’s contribution to EPF will be part of total CTC.

Category & Reservation Guidelines

  • OBC-NCL certificate must be issued for the current financial year only
  • OBC certificate issued for State Government posts is not valid
  • EWS candidates must produce valid Income & Asset Certificate for the current financial year
  • PwBD certificate must be issued in the prescribed Government of India format
  • If any certificate is in a language other than English/Hindi, a certified translation must be produced
  • Category change after submission of application is strictly not allowed

Documents Required for Walk-in Interview

  • Matriculation Certificate (Age Proof)
  • All Educational Certificates and Mark Sheets
  • Experience Certificates clearly stating field, duration, and designation
  • Valid Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • EWS Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
  • Valid Photo ID and Address Proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, PAN, Voter ID)
  • For Government/PSU employees: No Objection Certificate (NOC)
  • For Private Employees: Last 3 months’ pay slips, 26AS form (proof of CTC), appointment letter, and company ID card
  • Candidates unable to produce NOC may submit an undertaking to provide relieving order if selected

Selection Process

  1. Scrutiny of applications by Screening Committee as per eligibility criteria
  2. Shortlisted candidates will appear for an Interview
  3. Assessment will be based on field experience, domain knowledge, and past performance
  4. Requests for postponing walk-in interviews will not be entertained
  5. RVNL's decision will be final and binding

Medical Standards

Selected candidates must be physically and medically fit. Medical examination will be conducted as per RVNL policies.

Bond Requirements

The candidate must execute a bond equivalent to two months’ consolidated monthly remuneration and must serve in the organization for a minimum period of one year.

Travelling & Accommodation Rules

  • No travelling expenses will be paid for attending the walk-in interview
  • No reimbursement will be provided for tickets already booked (Flight/Train/Volvo/Bus)
  • Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel

Misconduct and Penalty Guidelines

  • Using unfair means during any stage of recruitment
  • Impersonation or arranging impersonation
  • Submission of forged or fabricated documents
  • Suppression of any material information
  • Misbehaving, intimidating, or threatening staff
  • Damaging RVNL property or interview infrastructure
  • Possession of weapons or creating disturbances during interview
  • Any misconduct may lead to disqualification, legal action, debarment, removal from service (if appointed)
