Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: A postgraduate qualification recognized in Psychiatry (e.g., M.D. in Psychiatry or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a recognized institution after obtaining M.D. or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Experience:
1. Clinical and/or research experience in Telemedicine and/or Tele-training.
2. Experience of working with multidisciplinary research teams.
3. Indexed scientific publications.

Job Responsibilities

Act as the In-charge/head of the Tele-MANAS cell and oversee its overall functioning.
Provide specialist audio/video consultations.
Assist Persons with Mental Illness (PWMI) and other users of Tele-MANAS services.
Develop curated modules and manuals for service delivery.
Supervise Mental Health Professionals (Psychiatry, CP, PSW, Nursing, and Lay Counsellors).
Conduct training and evaluation programs.
Prepare first-level escalation reports and monthly performance summaries.
Provide state-level data and coordinate with state, apex institutes, and central authorities.
Conduct and participate in high-quality scientific research in tele-mental health.
Liaise with apex institutes, central ministries, and state governments for effective service delivery.
