Base Salary / Stipend

The trainees/clinicians from outstation institutes will be paid a displacement allowance of ₹30,000/- per month. This allowance is applicable only if the trainee is not from the same city where the training is conducted.

• Each centre will select four (4) trainees per year in two batches.
• Fellowship duration is 6 months.
• The fellowship covers training in cytogenetic and molecular genetic techniques along with their applications in patient care.
• Faculty members completing the training will be eligible to apply for DBT grants for the establishment of National Inherited Disorders Administration Kendras (NIDAN Kendras) at their institutions.
