Application Process
Interested candidates must submit a hard copy of the filled application form along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates and documents to the following address:

Candidates are required to bring their original certificates and relevant documents for verification at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The appointment shall be made on a lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture subject to an upper limit of Rs. 50,000 per month.
The selected candidate must provide an undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship, stipend, or financial assistance from any other agency while serving as Guest Faculty. Candidates already availing JRF scholarships within the University Department are not entitled to the honorarium, but they will be issued an experience certificate for the service period as Guest Faculty.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Forensic Science or any allied discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
- A relaxation of 5% marks shall be provided to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer), and Differently-abled categories.
- Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC (like SLET/SET), or must hold a Ph.D. Degree awarded in accordance with the University Grants Commission regulations.
Exemption from NET/SLET/SET
Candidates registered for the Ph.D. program prior to July 11, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET if they meet all of the following conditions:
- Ph.D. degree of the candidate was awarded in regular mode only.
- Ph.D. thesis was evaluated by at least two external examiners.
- An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate was conducted.
- The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, of which at least one must be in a refereed journal.
- The candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences/seminars based on Ph.D. work.
- All the above conditions must be certified by the Registrar/Dean (Academic Affairs).

Ph.D. in Forensic Science or allied fields.
Reservation and Relaxation
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-abled categories shall be given a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) norms.
