District Court Nuh Recruitment 2026 – Stenographer Grade III Adhoc Vacancy

The Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Nuh has issued a public employment notice inviting applications for the post of Stenographer Grade-III on an adhoc basis. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply through offline mode before the last date. The recruitment will be conducted as per the Haryana Subordinate Courts Establishment Rules.

The notification states that applications are invited from the general public to fill up the vacant posts of Stenographer Grade-III on a consolidated salary basis. Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must have passed the matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates must have proficiency in operating computers.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
  • Upper Age Limit: As per the latest instructions issued by the Haryana Government.
  • Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
  • Age relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes (A and B), and persons already working in Government employment will be applicable as per Haryana Government rules.

Selection Process

Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer Grade-III will have to qualify the English shorthand test and its transcription test on computer.

Transcription Speed 20 Words Per Minute on Computer
Candidates appearing for the stenography test must bring their own shorthand notebook and pencil. They must also bring their original testimonials and identity proof at the time of the test.

The selection for the posts will be made strictly in accordance with the provisions of Rule 7 of the Haryana Subordinate Courts Establishment (Recruitment and General Conditions of Service) Rules, 1997.

Place of Examination

The stenography test will be conducted at District Courts Complex, Nuh.

No separate call letter will be issued for the examination. Candidates are advised to regularly check the public notice displayed on the notice board of the court as well as the official website of District Courts Nuh.

Application Process

  1. Candidates must submit their application on plain paper with their latest passport size photograph affixed on the top.
  2. The application must contain complete personal and educational details including name, father’s or husband’s name, date of birth, sex, category of reservation, educational qualifications, mobile number, permanent address, postal address and experience if any.
  3. Attested copies of relevant certificates must be attached with the application form.
  4. Applications must be submitted either by registered post or by hand.
  5. The application should be addressed to The District and Sessions Judge, Nuh.
No advance copy of the application will be entertained and applications sent through email will not be accepted in any case.

Important Instructions

  • Incomplete applications or applications without photographs and without attested copies of testimonials will be rejected.
  • Applications received after the due date or before the publication date of the advertisement will be rejected without information to the candidates.
  • Unsigned applications will be rejected.
  • Candidates who are underage or overage will also be rejected.
  • Candidates working in Government or Semi-Government departments must route their application through the proper channel.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to change the category once mentioned in the application.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate appearing for the test.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee regarding eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications and mode of selection will be final and binding.
  • The vacancies are purely on adhoc basis and the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, whichever is earlier.
