NHPC Limited has invited online applications for one-year apprenticeship training at multiple project locations across India. The notification includes Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentice trades in states such as Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Arunachal Pradesh.

Stipend Details

Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 15,000 per month
Diploma Apprentice / Supervisor (HR): Rs. 13,500 per month
ITI Apprentice: Rs. 12,000 per month
DBT Benefit: Rs. 4,500 for Graduate and Rs. 4,000 for Diploma apprentices under NATS, wherever applicable

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Candidate must have required Degree, Diploma, or ITI qualification from a recognized institute.
Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training of 1 year or more are not eligible.
Candidate must be medically fit as per Apprentice Act, 1961.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 30 years

Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government rules.

Reservation and Fees

Reservation will be applicable as per Apprentice Act, 1961.
Candidates claiming reservation must submit valid certificate in Government prescribed format.
Application Fee: Not mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process

No interview will be conducted. Selection will be based purely on merit.

Graduate Apprentice: 20% 10th marks + 20% 12th/Diploma marks + 60% qualifying degree/PG marks
Diploma Apprentice: 30% 10th marks + 70% Diploma marks
ITI Apprentice: 30% 10th marks + 70% ITI marks

Register on NAPS for ITI trades or NATS for Graduate/Diploma trades.
Get registration/enrolment number.
Apply online through NHPC website Career Section under Engagement of Apprentice.
Upload all required documents including registration form, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificate if applicable, photograph, and signature.

Other Important Information

Candidates should apply for only one region, state, or trade.
Incomplete or multiple applications will be rejected.
Accommodation may be provided. If not, Rs. 2,500 per month extra may be paid.
Selected candidates will receive stipend subject to satisfactory attendance and performance.
Selected trainee list will be published on NHPC website.
No claim for regular employment in NHPC will be entertained after apprenticeship.
