Salary and Duration

• Monthly Salary: Rs. 37,000 + HRA (as applicable)
• Duration: Initially for 1 year with the possibility of extension to the second and third year based on satisfactory performance and availability of project grant.

Mandatory Qualification Route

1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests: CSIR-UGC NET/SET including Lectureship and GATE.
2. Scholars selected through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies/institutions such as DST, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

Desirable Experience

• Prior experience in project-related work is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with a strong research background.
• Candidates with scientific publications will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 years on the date of the interview
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and Physically Handicapped candidates (as per Government of India rules)

Selection Process

• Selection will be conducted through Walk-In Interview only.
• No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for attending the interview.

• Appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• Candidates appointed shall not be entitled to allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Residential Telephone, Transport Facility, or Personal Staff.
• Selected candidates may be provided transit accommodation as per institute rules, subject to availability.

General Conditions

• Professionals with the required qualifications and experience shall be eligible for the post.
• Selected candidates will be engaged for fixed periods to provide services for time-bound projects.
• The appointment is full-time and candidates are not permitted to take up other assignments.
• The appointment is temporary and can be canceled by the Institute without assigning reason.
