Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • MBBS with MPH
  • BDS with MPH
  • MD in Community Medicine

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Public Health or other Health Programmes
  • Experience in developing IEC materials
  • Experience in conducting advocacy campaigns

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Office and graphic design tools
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Knowledge of digital and social media platforms for awareness campaigns
  • Willingness to undertake field visits to States and Union Territories

Age Limit

  • Maximum age limit is 55 years
  • Age is calculated as on the last date of receiving applications
  • Candidate must be in sound health to undertake extensive field visits

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in all matters relating to training under the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP)
  2. Monitor training activities conducted in different States through quarterly reports and field visits
  3. Develop and implement a comprehensive IEC strategy aligned with the National Strategic Plan & Roadmap 2023–2027
  4. Design and develop communication materials including brochures, posters, audio-visual content, and social media campaigns
  5. Support advocacy initiatives involving policymakers, community leaders, and influencers
  6. Assist in implementation of Government of India guidelines to remove social stigma associated with leprosy
  7. Maintain detailed records of IEC activities and prepare periodic progress reports
  8. Support documentation of best practices and lessons learned
  9. Coordinate with partners and State Government counterparts for program implementation and reporting
  10. Undertake field visits to monitor IEC activities and provide on-ground support
  11. Perform any other duties assigned by the Central Leprosy Division
