The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) invites ONLINE applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of Specialists on Contract for its Head Office in Mumbai. This recruitment drive is for a total of 06 (six) posts across different specializations. The remuneration mentioned above is inclusive of all allowances and statutory deductions.
Annual increment up to 10% may be granted based on satisfactory performance and at the discretion of NABARD.
Contract specialists are liable for tax deduction at source under the Income Tax Act.
Specialists will not be entitled to superannuation benefits such as PF, Pension, or Gratuity.

Application Process

Interested candidates must apply online through the official NABARD website www.nabard.org. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Visit the NABARD website and navigate to Career Notices → Apply Online.
Click on “New Registration” and enter name, contact details, and email ID to generate a provisional registration number and password.
Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and latest resume.
Fill all required details carefully. Verify using the “Preview” option before final submission.
Pay the requisite application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets.
Download and print the e-Receipt and application form for records.

Handwritten Declaration (must be in candidate’s handwriting):
“I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Age Limits

Climate Change Specialist – 35 to 55 years
IT Specialist – 35 to 55 years
Head – Rural Tech and Innovations – 30 to 50 years
Head – Data & Impact Evaluation – 30 to 50 years
Head – Finance, Compliance and Commercialization – 30 to 50 years
E-Commerce Specialist – 25 to 35 years

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:3 based on qualifications and experience.
Selection will be through an interview conducted by the Selection Committee.
Candidates employed in Government or PSU organizations must submit a “No Objection Certificate”.
Selected candidates must undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination.
NABARD reserves the right to modify or cancel recruitment without assigning reasons.
Final decision of the Selection Committee will be binding and final.

Contract Terms & Benefits

Initial contract: 2 years, extendable annually up to a maximum of 5 years.
Either party may terminate the contract with one month’s notice or equivalent payment in lieu.
Leave: Maximum of 30 days per calendar year on a proportionate basis.
Office Facilities: Office space, internet connectivity, lounge facilities provided.
Medical Facility: For self only, at NABARD dispensary (where available).
Legal Status: Engagement is purely contractual; no claim for regular employment.
Jurisdiction: All legal matters will fall under Mumbai courts only.

NABARD reserves the right to increase, decrease, modify, or cancel any provisions of the vacancy or recruitment process without prior notice.
Specialists shall have no claim or right for regular employment in the organization.
