Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate in Statistics, Population Studies, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent degree.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of large-scale public health/development interventions.
  • Experience in implementing and managing monitoring and evaluation of large-scale Public Health interventions with good data analysis and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and statistical tools/software like STATA, SPSS, Power BI, or R.
  • Fair understanding of the health and development sector and issues affecting marginalized communities.
  • Good interpersonal skills, tact, maturity, flexibility, and empathy.
  • Willingness to travel across multiple states of India (2–4 days per month).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the M&E focal point between KHPT and the Central TB Division (CTD) to align project monitoring frameworks with national TB program priorities.
  • Support Lead M&E, NPMU in designing and implementing systems for monitoring effectiveness, quality, and coverage of project interventions.
  • Compile, analyze, and synthesize monitoring data for national-level reporting to CTD, Global Fund, and stakeholders.
  • Generate actionable insights using data tools to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in TB program delivery.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of data submitted by partners through remote checks and field validation visits.
  • Provide analytical support for periodic reviews, CTD meetings, donor presentations, and prepare dashboards.
  • Document and disseminate best practices, success stories, and produce quarterly M&E reports.
  • Collaborate with CTD’s M&E and IT divisions for interoperability with Nikshay and DBT platforms.
  • Design research evaluations in consultation with the National Lead – MER and CTD focal persons.
  • Provide mentoring and capacity-building to state teams and sub-recipients on data quality and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct regular field visits for data verification, quality audits, and spot checks.
  • Oversee new electronic data collection methods.
