Emoluments / Base Salary

  • For JRF: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA (as per norms)
  • For PA: ₹25,000/- per month + HRA (as per norms)

Employment Type and Duration

  • Employment Type: Temporary / Project-based
  • JRF: Initially 1 year, extendable for up to 2 additional years based on performance.
  • PA: Initially 6 months, extendable based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

  • M.E. / M.Tech. in Information Technology / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / AI and Data Science or equivalent.
  • OR M.Tech. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
  • OR B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Mathematics and Computing or equivalent.
  • OR Five-year Integrated BS-MS in Mathematics and Computing or equivalent.
  • GATE qualification required in CS or EC disciplines.
  • B.Tech. students without M.Tech. (from CFTIs) with at least 8.5 CGPA are exempted from GATE.
  • Candidates from non-CFTIs must have at least 7.5 CGPA and a valid GATE score.

For Project Assistant (PA):

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in embedded and networking systems.

Job Description

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

  • Expertise in V2X communications, embedded systems, cryptography, connected autonomous vehicles, and cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of hardware-level V2X protocol implementations and excellent programming skills preferred.

For Project Assistant (PA):

  • Strong report-writing skills and experience with embedded hardware.
  • Willingness to conduct fieldwork related to Connected Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) research and visits.
  • Assist in administrative tasks and perform required physical work in the laboratory.
