Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 23 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (inclusive of all relaxations)
- Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: 01.11.2025
Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates should possess one of the following educational qualifications and professional experiences:
- B.E. (Fire) from National Fire Services College (NFSC), Nagpur
- OR B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent in Fire Technology / Fire Engineering / Safety and Fire Engineering from a college or university approved by AICTE/UGC
- OR Bachelor’s degree from any University recognized by AICTE/UGC and Divisional Officer’s course from NFSC, Nagpur
- OR Bachelor’s degree and Graduate from Institute of Fire Engineers (India) or Institute of Fire Engineering (UK)
- OR Bachelor’s degree and Station Officer course from NFSC, Nagpur with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree and Sub-Officer course from NFSC, Nagpur with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience
Professional Experience
Post-qualification composite experience of minimum 3–5 years as Fire Officer or equivalent post in:
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
- Public Sector Banks (PSBs)
- Central or State Government organizations
- City Fire Brigades or State Fire Services
- Corporate Fire Safety or Industrial Complexes
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety norms and regulations
- Expertise in fire prevention and protection systems for high-rise buildings
- Basic computer literacy
Period of Engagement
The appointment will be on a contractual basis for an initial period of three (3) years, which may be extended up to five (5) years. Renewal is subject to performance review, requirements, and the Bank’s discretion.
Leave Policy
Selected candidates will be entitled to 30 days of leave per calendar year on a pro-rata basis. The leave balance will not be carried forward, and leave encashment is not permitted.
Remuneration
Compensation is negotiable and not a limiting factor for deserving candidates.

Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Scrutiny of applications by the Screening Committee
- Interview of shortlisted candidates by the Selection Committee
In case the number of applicants is substantially large, the Bank may conduct a Written Test, Group Discussion, Preliminary Interview, or a combination of these processes.
Job Profile and Responsibilities
- Ensure fire safety compliance for the Bank’s high-rise buildings and offices.
- Formulate and implement fire safety policies in all Bank establishments.
- Prepare fire orders, operational plans, and ensure regular drills and training.
- Maintain firefighting equipment in good working condition.
- Provide training to Firemen and Security Guards posted in Bank buildings.
- Maintain liaison with local fire brigades and authorities.
- Assist in designing new building plans with appropriate fire safety measures.
- Conduct inspections of Bank premises and recommend improvements.
- Report to the Chief Security Officer of the Bank.

Termination of Contract
Either party may terminate the contractual engagement by giving three (3) months’ notice or payment of three months’ fixed component of compensation in lieu of notice, at the sole discretion of the Bank.
