ECHS Recruitment 2026 – Employment Notice for Medical, Dental & Other Staff (Ferozepur Cantt & Moga, Punjab)

Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Ferozepur Cantt has issued an official Employment Notice inviting applications for engagement of Officers, Medical Staff, and Non-Medical Staff on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinics Ferozepur Cantt and Moga (Punjab). The engagement period will be 12 months for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and 11 months for Civil candidates.

Eligibility Criteria & Work Experience

Medical Officer: MBBS. Minimum 5 years experience after internship. Preference will be given to candidates having additional qualification in Medical/Surgical fields.
Dental Officer: BDS. Minimum 5 years work experience.
Nursing Assistant: GNM Diploma Class 1 OR Nursing Assistant Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 5 years experience.
Pharmacist: B Pharmacy from recognized institute OR (10+2 with Science stream from recognized board + Approved Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948). Minimum 3 years experience.
Laboratory Assistant: DMLT / Class 1 Laboratory Technician Course (Armed Forces). Minimum 5 years work experience in laboratory.
Safaiwala: Literate. Minimum 5 years experience.

Reservation Details

All the above posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). However, Civilian candidates can also apply. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen. Civilian candidates selected against ESM vacancy will be terminated if ESM becomes available later.

Candidates must submit application form along with self-attested 2 copies of all relevant documents including 10th/Matric, 12th, Graduation/PG/Diploma, Internship Certificate, Attempt Certificate, Registration Certificate of Medical/Dental Council, Experience Certificate, Discharge Book, PPO, Service Records, Medical Fitness Certificate signed by SEMO/CMO, and passport size photographs.

Applications received after 30 March 2026 will not be accepted.
Incomplete or unsigned applications without necessary documents will be rejected.

Selection Process

Scrutiny of applications.
Interview of eligible candidates.
Candidates must bring all original documents at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
Selected Medical and Dental Officers will carry out 10 days On Job Training (OJT) before signing the contract.
Duration of OJT will remain unpaid.
