Remuneration / Base Salary

• For retired employees from pensionable Government employment: Consolidated monthly remuneration as per extant Government norms. The admissible amount will be computed by deducting the pension amount from the last drawn salary.
• For retired employees from non-pensionable Government or Semi-Government/PSUs/Autonomous bodies:
  • Junior Engineer: ₹33,630/- per month
  • Assistant Engineer: ₹45,000/- per month

In addition, Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance (TA/DA) is admissible at rates applicable to regular Junior/Assistant Engineers. No other perks/benefits such as HRA, CCA and medical reimbursement will be provided.

Employment Type

The engagement will be purely contractual, initially for a fixed period of one year. The contract may be extended yearly on the basis of satisfactory performance or until appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier. However, no extension shall be granted beyond the age of 65 years.

Documents required at the time of interview:

• Duly filled application form
• Original and two sets of self-attested copies of certificates (age, qualification, experience)
• Copy of Pension Payment Order and Last Pay Certificate as on 31.08.2024
• Two passport size photographs

Eligibility Criteria

• Retired Engineers from Central/State PWD or CPSUs/PSUs only.
• Must have held the equivalent or higher post at the time of retirement.
• Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
• Preference: Retired Government Engineers with experience in building construction and maintenance.

Age Limit

Maximum age limit is 64 years as on 30.09.2025. No extension will be granted beyond 65 years of age.

Reservation Details

Leave and Other Conditions

• One day leave per completed month of service plus gazetted holidays as notified by ESIC Regional Office, Faridabad.

• Selected candidates must sign an Agreement (Annexure-I) as per ESIC Headquarters’ letter dated 08.03.2018.
• Contract may be terminated with one month’s notice or remuneration in lieu, without assigning any reason.
• Candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Civil Surgeon before joining.
• Absence for 15 days without permission may be treated as voluntary abandonment of service.
