DRDO DMSRDE Research Associate Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview

The Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released an official notification for the recruitment of Research Associate (Chemistry) under the Defence Materials & Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur. Eligible candidates who meet the required educational qualifications can appear for the Walk-in Interview scheduled on 07 April 2026.

The Research Associateship is offered for a limited duration and provides a fellowship stipend along with additional benefits as per government rules. Interested candidates must appear at the specified interview venue with all necessary documents including educational certificates, testimonials, identity proof, and community certificate if applicable.

Educational Qualification

• Candidate must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in relevant discipline (Chemistry) from a recognized university.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also appear for the interview.
• The Research Associateship will be awarded only after the candidate receives the Ph.D. degree or provisional certificate.

Application Process

• Candidates must attend the walk-in interview on the specified date and time.
• Applicants must bring a completed bio-data in the prescribed format.
• A recent passport-size photograph must be attached to the application form.
• Candidates should carry xerox copies of all testimonials and certificates.
• Original mark sheets, certificates, and testimonials must also be presented during the interview.
• Community certificate should be carried if applying under reserved categories.
• Candidates must bring GATE/NET score card if applicable.
• Identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License must be provided.
• Candidates working in Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

Important Instructions

• The award of Research Associateship will not confer any right on the candidate for further employment in DRDO.
• Director, DMSRDE reserves the right not to select any candidate if suitable candidates are not available.
• Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
