Bank of Baroda has invited applications for the post of Financial Literacy Centre Counsellor (FLCC) on a contractual basis for Karauli District, Rajasthan. The recruitment aims to appoint qualified and experienced professionals to promote financial literacy and provide counselling services in accordance with RBI guidelines.

Salary and Allowances

  • Fixed Monthly Remuneration: ₹25,000
  • Conveyance Allowance: Up to ₹5,000 per month
  • Reimbursement Conditions:
    • ₹3,000 if less than 10 camps conducted per month
    • ₹5,000 if more than 10 camps conducted per month
  • Halting Allowance:
    • ₹300 (more than 8 hours without night stay)
    • ₹600 (with night stay)
  • Travel Expenses: As applicable to JMG/S-I officer category
  • Payment will be made after verification of monthly visit diary
  • Statutory tax deductions will be applicable

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate degree from a recognized university
  • Preference for postgraduate degree in:
    • Agriculture
    • Veterinary Science
    • Sociology
    • Psychology
    • Social Work

Additional Requirements

  • Fluency in local language
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Teaching ability
  • Knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, finance, law, communication and team-building skills

Experience

  • Ex-banker with minimum 5 years of experience in Nationalized Bank / RRB / Private Bank
  • OR Minimum 5 years experience in banking-related fields, NBFCs or Financial Institutions
  • OR Business Correspondent / BC Coordinator with minimum 5 years experience
  • OR Ex-RSETI Director with minimum 3 years experience / Faculty with minimum 5 years experience

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 64 years (subject to good health)

Residency

  • Must be resident of Rajasthan
  • Preference for candidates from Karauli District

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting of candidates
  • Interview conducted by panel including:
    • Lead District Manager (LDM)
    • NABARD Representative
    • Regional Manager / District Authorities
  • Final selection by Zonal Head

Terms of Appointment

  • Contract period is for one year
  • Contract may be renewed based on performance and approval
  • Engagement is purely temporary
  • No claim for permanent employment
  • Contract can be terminated with one month notice from either side
  • Renewal decision will be taken by Zonal Office

Leave Policy

  • Casual Leave: 1 day per completed month
  • Sick Leave: 15 days per year (pro-rata basis)
  • Unauthorized absence will lead to salary deduction
  • Unavailed leave will not be carried forward
  • Service may be terminated if absent beyond 15 days without approval

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial literacy activities as per RBI guidelines
  • Provide free counselling and debt management services
  • Promote awareness about banking and financial inclusion
  • Conduct camps on digital banking and financial schemes
  • Maintain records of beneficiaries and services provided
  • Assist distressed borrowers
  • Ensure no mis-selling of financial products
  • Organize awareness camps and Gram Sabhas
  • Educate about government schemes such as PMJDY, APY, PMSBY, PMJBY
  • Submit reports and visit diaries regularly

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Lead District Manager / RSETI Director / Regional Office
  • Monthly reports to be submitted to Zonal Manager
