Credit History Requirement
Candidates applying for the above positions must maintain a satisfactory credit history. A minimum CIBIL score of 680 or above is required at the time of joining. Any candidate with defaults in loan or credit card repayments, or those having adverse reports from credit agencies, will be considered ineligible. The Bank reserves the right to cancel candidature at any stage if credit profile is found unsatisfactory.
Probation Period
Selected candidates will be on a probation period of 12 months (one year) of active service from the date of joining the Bank.
Service Bond
The selected candidates will be required to execute a mandatory Service Bond as per the Bank’s existing policies. At present, the terms are as follows:
- Minimum service period: 3 years from the date of joining.
- Compensation for breach of bond: ₹ 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs).
The bond amount and duration may be revised by the Bank’s policy in future. Details will be communicated in the offer letter.
Eligibility and Nationality
Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements relating to nationality and citizenship as per Government of India guidelines. Eligible candidates include:
- Citizens of India.
- Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan.
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates in categories (ii)–(v) require an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India before appointment.
Selection Procedure
- Online Test: May include reasoning, English language, quantitative aptitude, and professional knowledge. Total 150 questions / 225 marks, duration 150 minutes. No negative marking.
- Psychometric Test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview: Conducted to assess communication, analytical skills, innovation, and suitability for the post. Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (General) / 55% (Reserved).
- Final Selection: Based on combined scores from Online Test, GD, PI, and/or other assessments as determined by the Bank.
The Bank reserves the right to modify or combine stages, and call candidates in ratios as per requirement.

Sections 1–3 are qualifying only; marks not counted for final merit. Qualifying threshold: 40% for General & EWS, 35% for Reserved categories. Bank may modify criteria at its discretion.
Guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities
- Candidates with benchmark disabilities may use a scribe as per Government of India guidelines.
- Candidates using a scribe must upload a certificate from a Government medical authority confirming necessity of a scribe.
- Scribe must be from a different academic stream and arranged at the candidate’s own cost.
- Both candidate and scribe must provide undertakings confirming eligibility of the scribe.
- Eligible candidates using scribe receive 20 minutes extra time per hour of the examination.
Guidelines for Locomotor Disability and Visually Impaired Candidates
- Candidates with locomotor disability or cerebral palsy affecting the writing hand by ≥ 40% impairment receive compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
- Visually Impaired candidates (≥ 40% disability) may view test in magnified font and receive 20 minutes extra time per hour.
- Magnified font option unavailable to candidates who opt for a scribe.

Online examination will be conducted in multiple centres across India, subject to administrative feasibility:

Centres for Group Discussion and Interview will be announced later. Requests for centre change will not be entertained.
Biometric Verification
Bank will capture and verify biometric data (right-thumb / iris scan / photograph) of candidates during Online Test, Group Discussion, Interview, and at joining. Candidates refusing verification may face cancellation of candidature. Maintain clean, dry fingers and avoid henna or ink coatings for smooth verification.
Conduct and Misconduct Guidelines
- Providing false information or using unfair means may lead to disqualification, debarment, or termination.
- Carrying mobile phones, pagers, calculators, or any electronic device in exam premises is strictly prohibited.
- Unruly behavior or violation of rules may result in permanent disqualification from future examinations.
Documents Required at Various Stages
- Printout of valid application form and call letter.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate / SSLC Certificate).
- Photo ID Proof (PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhaar with photo, etc.).
- All educational mark sheets and degree certificates (semester/year-wise).
- Caste / EWS / PWD certificate (as applicable) in prescribed Government format.
- Experience certificates, latest salary slip, appointment/relieving letters.
- No Objection Certificate for candidates working in Government / PSU / Banks.
- Eligibility certificate for categories (ii–v) under nationality clause, if applicable.

Incomplete applications or unsuccessful fee payments will be rejected. The Bank is not responsible for connectivity issues or late submissions.
General Conditions
- Selected candidates must sign an employment contract as per Bank rules.
- Multiple applications for a single post will be rejected; only the last valid one will be retained.
- Decisions of the Bank regarding eligibility and selection are final and binding.
