जानकारी के अनुसार, मणिपुर में राष्ट्रपति शासन खत्म होने से पहले भाजपा विधायक दल ने युमनाम खेमचंद सिंह को अपना नेता चुन लिया है, जिससे उनके राज्य के नए मुख्यमंत्री बनने का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। बताया गया कि करीब एक साल से खाली पड़े मुख्यमंत्री पद के बाद अब राज्य में फिर से निर्वाचित सरकार बनने जा रही है।
