Workshop on 'Role of Media in Disaster Management' organized at Secretariat

In the workshop, Upper Secretary, Disaster Management Shri Anand Srivastava said that the role of media becomes important in times of disaster. The mutual coordination between the media and the disaster management system is very important. Special emphasis was laid on the rapid transmission of information and media management in the workshop. In this workshop, the speakers spoke about the need to arrange for regular training of people related to disaster management.
